The Trustees of the Rockingham Free Public Library are currently seeking candidates to fill a single vacancy on the Library Board. The Library Board of Trustees sets library policy, approves the annual library budget for presentation to the Selectboard, and oversees the Library Director, among other responsibilities. The Library Board meets at 6:30pm on the third Thursday of every other month. To self-nominate, residents should send a letter of interest to director@rockinghamlibrary.org by May 15, 2024. The Library Board will review submissions and make a recommendation to the Rockingham Selectboard. Please contact director@rockinghamlibrary.org with any questions.

PRESS RELEASE
The Town of Rockingham has adopted an increase in the fees for the recycling center effective September 1, 2021.

The pricing sheets will be posted starting August 11, 2021. The posting will be on the cashiers building and on the trash compactor station, as well as on the town website.

The increases are due to increases in the contract prices for disposal of recycling (bottles, cans, etc.), trash disposal and hauling costs.

Access stickers are required to enter the facility with the exception of disposing of electronic items only as this is a state-managed program. the price of the access stickers has not changed.

As of now, the “swap” building will remain closed while we complete plans for the facility.
