Fall Cemetery Cleanup
TOWN OF ROCKINGHAM, VERMONT - Fall clean up in the five Rockingham Cemeteries (Rockingham Meeting House, Oak Hill, Restland, Saxtons River, and Cambridgeport) has begun. The public is asked to remove all items, including potted plants, cut flowers and other memorial objects that might be displaced or damaged during routine maintenance, leaf cleanup or snowfall. Items left in the cemetery after November 1st may be disposed of at the discretion of Town employees or the contractors hired by the Town for maintenance of the cemeteries. The Town of Rockingham Cemetery Rules & Regulations stipulate that the lot owner(s) should remove items by October 1st of each year. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will allow us to further improve the condition of the cemeteries in 2026.
