 Highway Truck Driver/Laborer

 Do you enjoy hands-on work, being outdoors, and taking pride in keeping your community safe and moving? The Town of Rockingham is hiring a Full-Time Highway Truck Driver & Laborer to support year-round road maintenance and seasonal operations.

In the winter, you’ll play an essential role in snow plowing, salting, and sanding. During the rest of the year, you’ll help maintain and improve town roads through general highway maintenance and construction work.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to operate basic to moderately complex equipment

  • Comfort performing physical/manual labor in varied weather conditions

  • Professional, courteous communication with co-workers and the public

  • Reliability and a strong work ethic

✅ CDL NOT required (we will train)

Pay & Benefits

  • $20.00–$25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

  • Full-time benefits

  • Eligible for Union membership
