The Listers are elected to assess property in the Town of Rockingham and to set the Grand List, on which property taxes are based. Property records are public information and can be found here.
Property is re-assessed when there are changes to buildings, acreage, or use. The value is set as of April 1 each year. The Listers are responsible for equitable assessment of comparable properties throughout the Town.
Owners who feel the value assessed is inappropriate, have the right to appeal on grievance day.
The Listers are available to the public and property owners. Call or email to discuss concerns and questions.
