Northern Border Regional Commission
Rockingham received a $350K grant for rehabilitation of the Bellows Falls Train Station to include abatement of lead and asbestos, repair of the bulkhead foundation door and rehabilitation of windows and brick facade to the US Department of Interior Historic Preservations standards.

Downtown Transportation Fund from Vermont ACCD
The State of Vermont Agency of Commerce & Community Development awarded Rockingham $200K for the Acquisition and Rehabilitation of the Bellows Falls Train Station -BF Intermodal Transit Center (BFITC).
Rockingham purchased the station building in 2025, final rehab on the masonry and brick and foundation repair through March 2026. Phase 2 cleanup and rehab is complete in 2026.

Windham Regional Commission Brownfields RLF & Grant
Rockingham received funding by the Windham Regional Commission for costs related to the clean-up, Corrective Action Plan (CAP) and Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA).
A low interest loan of $137,500 and grant funding of $732, 174 were awarded September 2025.
