The Rockingham Recreation Center provides the community with a healthy place to socialize, play games, and stay physical. 
Located at 10 Playground Road off Williams Terrace in Bellows Falls, Vermont. The Recreation Center has the following outdoor amenities:

• 3 playing fields
• 2 basketball courts
• 2 tennis / pickleball courts (lighted) 
• playground with a pavilion
• swimming pool
• ample parking
• Hiking trail at Oak Hill and the bike trail maintained by Windham County Trails Alliance WCoTA bike trail
• Pump track at the bottom of the hill (easy access to 2 of the 5 trails in Walk the Rock!)
• sledding hill
• ski tow
• skating rink

Inside the Recreation center:

• X-box Kinect (with Dance Dance Revolution)
• Wii
• board games.

Monday through Friday

10:30-12:00- General Swim

12:00-12:30- Adult Swim

12:30-5:00- General Swim

5:00-5:30- Adult Swim

5:30-8:00- General Swim

Saturday/Sunday- 

11:30-12:00- Adult Swim

12:00-6:00- General Swim

* on Sunday's the pool and facility can be rented. So, our hours could change that day

Rent the Recreation Center

Host a meeting, pool party, birthday party or shower, the Recreation Center is available for rent. To rent our gazebo or use of the building the cost is $25/hr. To rent the pool for pool party, the cost is $100/ hr for the first two hours (i.e- $200). Then $50/hr for the additional hours. The maximum time the facility can be rented is 4 hours. 

 Tables and chairs, refrigerator and freezer are available, and a staff member will be on site to assist as needed.

Recreation Department Program Scholarship Policy

The Rockingham Recreation Department provides services to all Rockingham residents who wish to participate regardless of their ability to pay full program fees. While the Rockingham Recreation Department sets program fees at affordable rates, financial assistance may be available to those who cannot afford to pay the entire program fee.  Assistance is awarded based on applicant’s ability to pay and funds available.  Scholarships are 50% of the program, cost, but no more than $50/family.  Weekly/monthly payments arrangements can be made.

NOTE: The Rockingham Recreation Department Scholarships are available only to residents of Rockingham, VT.  Scholarships are available for most programs, excluding specialty camps, excursions, and family swim passes.  Scholarships will be awarded by the Recreation Department Director on a first-come, first-served basis.  Some programs will require minimal full-pay enrollments prior to being open to scholarship recipients.  Scholarship decisions may be made up to 1 week prior to the beginning of a program. Applicants please complete application in full, All information contained on the form will be kept confidential. Scholarship forms can be picked up at the Rec Center.
